It’s the new year and many of my clients struggle this time of year. Weight Gain, bloating, fatigue, and cravings just to name a few common issues they experience.
These simple tips will surely keep the cravings at bay and weight gain a memory of the past. These tips are perfect year round but with the winter months in front of us, I like to stress them so when the warmer weather comes, we are ready to enjoy.
1. Eat Protein
2. Drink Water – most times we are just thirsty, rather than hungry
3. Plan your meals
4. Avoid deprivation
5. Distract yourself – cravings will pass if you wait it out a bit
What your body really needs is leafy greens, vegetables, plant-based protein sources, as well as healthy fats, in order to stabilize blood sugar, improve satiation, and banish cravings! That is why I’m sharing one my favorite Winter Salads below that contains just these ingredients!
